Sanjeev - 0:02

Hi I'm Sanjeev. I'm currently working as a Senior Research Executive at Verian. I currently work for the Evaluation Practice where we conduct research on how policy is implemented and the impact that it's having on people. Verian is a great place to work where you get to do research on really interesting policy areas and make a difference in those areas. For example, right now I'm working on policy related to the environment, crime, housing, drugs and a lot of other cool areas.

You also get to do all that while working with a really great group of people who are very friendly and supportive. Verian is also really good at constantly providing you with feedback and helping you grow and develop and expand your research skills as well.

Overall, Verian is a fantastic place to work with a really great group of people and I'd highly recommend joining us.

Hi, I'm Jake, I'm a Research Graduate at Verian, which means I'm normally involved in the first part of analysis on our projects, whether that's going through questionnaires before they're given out to the public or looking through interview transcripts and pulling out the fine details.bMy team have been really supportive and as I've progressed, I've been able to take on a leading role in interviews, writing reports or doing client presentations.

I really enjoy working at Verian because of the range of areas I've gotten to work in - from environmental to transport or education policy - there's never a dull day.

Hi, I'm Amy and I joined Verian five years ago as a Senior Research Executive and I'm currently an Associate Director in the same team that I started in, which is the Communications evaluation team.

In terms of my day-to-day role, I manage a whole range of projects, so the practical and logistical, but I also provide clients with insight and help them make sure that their campaigns are working as effectively as possible.

I'm a mixed-method researcher, so I get to do quant and qual and because the communications team is partnered with the behavioural practice team, I also get to have some exposure to those behavioural projects too and kind of try those methodologies that are less typical. In terms of projects that I've worked on over the years, it's been a real mixture- a lot about EU exit, a lot about COVID-19.

And I currently work on quite a lot of transport related projects, but also net zero and sustainability. So yeah, it's a real mixture and I'm excited to see what comes next.

Ciara- 2:26

Hi, my name's Ciara. I'm a Research Manager at Verian. I joined Verian in 2021 as a Research Executive. Then I became a Senior Research Executive and then a Research Manager. So, I would say you're very well supported at Verian to kind of progress within the company. I work a lot with vulnerable audiences, so for example, victims of crime and understanding their experiences with the police, and also understanding women's safety in public spaces. I also work with social housing residents, so understanding the challenges that they face in social housing.

And I would say one of the kind of best things about the job is seeing the impact of the work. So, for example with the social housing residents we've seen firsthand held their feedback has directly informed government policies.

Everyone that we work with is so driven and kind of working towards a better society. So, we definitely recommend for you to apply to Verian.
