The Executive Education at Verian aims to equip individuals with relevant skill sets, abilities and knowledge within the public policy domain to help them in their work. Executive Education at Verian comprises of a variety of different programmes and learning pathways – each focusing on a particular niche and specialisation in skill and technique, or policymaking.
Guided by our team of specialists and practitioners, our instructors and facilitators will provide you with practical and application-based learning, sharing their insights and expertise on best practices within the field. Our curriculum also integrates theory with real-world scenarios, enabling participants to navigate complex policy challenges effectively and explore how they can apply what they have learnt to their work. Our problem-based approach to learning means that we encourage participants to bring their professional policy challenges to the course, and explore how they can approach these challenges through the tools, concepts and frameworks introduced to the class.

- Behavioural Communication: Focuses on using strategic communication to influence and change public behaviour effectively.
- Behavioural Design & Innovation: Teaches innovative approaches to design solutions that drive positive behavioural changes in the community.
- Behavioural Public Policy: Examines how insights from behavioural insights can inform and improve public policy design and implementation.
- Impact Evaluation: Provides methods and tools for assessing the effectiveness and impact of public programmes, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Public Participation/Engagement: Explores techniques and strategies for involving the public in decision-making processes and community activities, fostering greater civic involvement.
Programme types
We will conduct a learning needs assessment and design a customised curriculum, and educational experiences tailored to various organisational needs and standards.
- Project-Based Learning: Involves participants in practical, hands-on projects to enrich their learning experience over a defined period, such as a 6 to 12-month applied learning journey.
- Customised Enrolment: Offers tailored educational programmes to meet the specific organisational needs of individual learners.
- Institute of Higher Learning: Partnership with renown institutions like universities providing specialised academic and professional education.
- International Licensed Programmes: We are accredited and licensed to deliver globally recognised programmes that adhere to international standards such as International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).
Accredited Lead Trainer
Ms. Sandra Lim, President (Southeast Asia) of Verian, has over two decades of expertise in policy and social research consulting. She specializes in senior-level advisory and training in research, behavioural change, communications, innovation, public engagement, programme evaluation and strategic planning within public policy, sustainability, and social impact.
She has held leadership roles in societies and teaching at academic institutions, promoting leadership, diversity, and sustainability. She serves on several boards and committees focused on sustainability, diversity, aging, health, and co-governance, and is recognised as a thought leader. Additionally, she is an accredited board director, trainer, facilitator, public engagement, and holds an MSc in International Business 4.0, specialising in Sustainability & Digital Transformation..
