The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) and Kantar Public (now Verian) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 20 July 2022.

The MOU, approved by LKYSPP Dean Professor Danny Quah, was signed by Francesco Mancini, Vice Dean (Executive Education), and Sandra Lim, Managing Director of Kantar Public Singapore.

The MOU recognises each institution as Strategic Partners in capacity and knowledge building, in areas such as policy development and evaluation, behaviour change and experience design, public communications and policy insights. With this MOU, it will strengthen the cooperation between both parties to collaborate in designing and delivering executive and professional development programmes for governmental and non-governmental organisation partners, while at the same time drive and scale thought leadership in the form of insights, articles, and events as a contribution to discourse in public policy and social issues. The combination of a strong academic heritage and practitioner-focused expertise will allow both institutions to bring better public value to their partners.

Sandra Lim said, “Partnering with LKYSPP for the last three years has enabled both parties to more fully expand our exploration of the complex issues involved in building strong, productive and progressive society in Singapore.  It has been an absolute pleasure to work with LKYSPP through this partnership and the MOU will further strengthen this relationship and enable us to deepen our understanding and work into capacity and capability building.”

Francesco Mancini commented, “Governments around the world are facing deep and fundamental changes – from issues such as mental health to COVID-19 and climate change. It is serendipitous that both LKYSPP and Kantar Public share this great passion and expertise of delivering public value through evidence and insights. Partnering with an organisation from the private sector like Kantar Public will allow for both parties to deliver this value better mutually.”

Currently, both LKYSPP and Kantar Public are in partnership on two executive education programmes - “Mastering Behaviour Change for a Changing World” programme, as well as the “Mastering Policy Impact Evaluation and Analysis” programme.

This media release was issued under our former global brand name: Kantar Public.
